Proposed Procurement of Goods & Services policy

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby receive Report 2023-M-237 from the Municipal Clerk;

  AND FURTHER THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby enact proposed By-law 23-1711 as presented/amended.

Temagami Fire Department

Request to Tender

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby receive the report from the Temagami Fire Chief;

  
  ANDFURTHER THAT Council authorize the issuing of a Request for Tender for the purchase of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) for both Fire Departments, with quotations to be received for Council consideration at the December 14, 2023 Council meeting, with delivery in 2024.

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality does hereby receive report  2023-M-236 regrading the proposed By-law 23-1710 that will be adopted later in this meeting under Section 9.

Proposed Firearms By-law

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby accept report 2023-M-240 from the Municipal Clerk and the MLEO/ACO/PSO regarding the proposed 'Discharge of Firearms' By-law;

  FURTHER THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby direct staff to _______________________________________________________________________________________.

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby receive report 2023-M-244 for information purposes.

8.1

Municipal Insurance

Insurance Renewal

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby approve the insurance renewal for the period from October 2023 to October 2024 at a premium of $170,295 plus RST.

Marten River Medical Tiered Response

Agreement

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council Authorize the execution of the Medical Tiered Response Agreement between the Marten River Fire Department and DNSSAB.

Marten River Fire Hall

Rental Request

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby direct staff to wave the rental fee for the use of the Marten River Fire Hall for activities provided by 'Sisters by choice'.

Temagami Legion

Request for Waived/Discounted Lottery Licence Fee

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby direct the Municipal Clerk to charge the Temagami Legion __________ for the Lottery Licence fee that they have applied for.

9.1

By-law 23-1710

The Keeping of Animals

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby enact proposed By-law 23-1710 'The Keeping of Animals';

  FURTHER THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby direct the Municipal Clerk to send By-law 23-1710 to the Attorney General for set fine approval.

Procurement of Goods and Services

• Draft Motion:

  BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council for the Corporation of the Municipality of Temagami does hereby enact By-law 23-1711 the Procurement of Goods and Services.
